Amber Fuller, Finance Director for the City of Lacy Lakeview, began her career in municipal government in 2006 as a filing clerk for the City of Hubbard Municipal Court through her high school’s work program. After graduation, she was promoted to Accounts Payable, and just two years later, she was promoted again to City Secretary. She served as the City Secretary for the City of Hubbard from 2009 to 2018, where she received her Texas Municipal Clerks Certification from the Texas Municipal Clerks Association. She resigned from Hubbard in 2018 to pursue an education in accounting. In May of 2020, she obtained an Associate Degree in Business from McLennan Community College and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Tarleton State University in December of 2020. In February 2021, she was hired as a client account specialist at a local accounting firm, JRBT. 

When the position of Finance Director for the City of Lacy Lakeview became available, she saw an opportunity to return to municipal government, which was always her goal. She is currently taking courses at Austin Community College to satisfy the hours needed to take the CPA exams.  

She enjoys spending time with her husband of over ten years and their two sons in her spare time. Additionally, she enjoys spending time with her numerous nieces and nephews, crafting, reading, and traveling.
She is grateful for the opportunity to do what she loves and serve the citizens of Lacy Lakeview.

Focus

The Finance Director supervises accounts payable, preparing financial reports and statements, maintaining an accounting and financial records system for the City, and preparing payroll.

Accounts Payable Department for the City of Lacy Lakeview aims to provide excellent service to our citizens and vendors. The department oversees accounting records, requisitions, vouchers, and related operating reports. The department prints, verifies, and mails disbursements promptly to ensure customer service.
